Tungnath Temple and trek – Tungnath is one of the most noteworthy Shiva sanctuary in the World. This 1000-year-old sanctuary situated at a height of 12073 ft. It is 4km from Chopta and one of the Panch Kedar sanctuary. It is accepted that the Pandavas began their voyage to discover Lord Shiva in the wake of slaughtering their cousins in the Kurukshetra war. When in winter the Kedarnath sanctuary is unavailable because of overwhelming snowfall around then the doli of Lord Kedar move to the Ukhimath for 6 months(approx) and remain there until the date of reviving of the Kedarnath sanctuary not announced.
Bisurital – Bisurital is a unique goal close to Chopta. Relatively few trekkers know about this Bisurital Trek. The trek to Bisurital is of 30km from one side (60 km from the two sides) and perhaps this is the explanation that it isn’t famous.
Kartik Swami Trek and sanctuary Kartik Swami sanctuary are committed to the senior child of Lord Shiva Kartikey. The trek to Kartikswami leads from Kanakchauri town which offers a 360-degree perspective on the Himalayas. The trekking course of the sanctuary is from the thick timberland where you can see the wonderful dawn and dusk.
